1 Day In Toledo

Toledo is a charming and historic city located in central Spain, just a short train ride from Madrid. Known as the "City of Three Cultures" for its rich blend of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim influences, Toledo is a fascinating destination for anyone interested in history, culture, and architecture. If you only have one day to spend in Toledo, here's a guide to what to do in this beautiful city.

We decided to stay in Toledo for one day on our last day in Spain. We woke up early in our rental in Moraira and took the just under 5-hour drive to Toledo to spend the day before driving back to Madrid for our return flight home.

Getting There:

If you're driving to Toledo, it's best to park your car outside the city and take a shuttle or walk to the city center. Parking can be challenging in Toledo's narrow, winding streets, so it's best to leave your car in a designated lot and avoid the stress of navigating through the city's many one-way streets. We were able to park our car right out front of the Ermita del Cristo de la Vega in the public parking overnight.

Where We Stayed:

We stayed at this amazing Airbnb in Toledo that was located right in the middle of the town. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for your next trip to Toledo. The home was clean and very unique with a basement cave with a hot tub to a net hammock floor. I wish we had more time to really enjoy everything that this Airbnb had to offer.
